Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant

BASIS.ed is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant for its Scottsdale Office! BASIS.ed currently manages 29 tuition-free public charter schools across Arizona, Texas, Washington, D.C., and Louisiana that are consistently ranked among the best K-12 schools in the United States. The BASIS.ed Central Offices team provides critical support to our top ranked schools.


  • Answer phones and general receptionist duties
  • Hours are 7:30 AM - 4 PM, Monday - Friday
  • Order general supplies for the office
  • Put away office supplies and orders
  • Pick up mail and distribute
  • Empty the dishwashers in the morning and turn on in the evening
  • Restock the kitchens with items
  • Prepare FedEx labels for packages going out
  • Receive and notify when special mail/deliveries are made
  • Order and unpack food supplies
  • Communicate with Property Management company
  • Hire temp from staffing company when planning to take PTO
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned


Minimum Qualifications: A High School diploma and must have strong customer service skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications: One plus years of experience working within an office setting. Skills include proficiency in Microsoft Word. Together with a high level of personal responsibility and optimism, a successful applicant will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, and will thrive in a fast-paced, achievement-oriented learning environment.
